About Us

It started in 2019 a year that was difficult for all of us. Passing the open field (some times twice a day) of Koedoe, Nyala and Blesbok street, Bloemfontein, Free state. At that time having a lot of time on hand, I started looking on YouTube at different gardening channels coming across community gardens, so started the seed of our garden (In a time of people struggling to make ends meet). So 5 months later we got some beds, some produce and a lot of plans. Stay with us through our journey, struggles and our victories.

Get Involved in the Volunteer Program

In order to succeed we need hands for helping, cleaning up starting beds. By volunteering to help with the community garden we will ensure a better future for our children to play. We will teach fundamental skills to basic surviving and living a healthy life. Our children and elderly needs a safe area to relax, play and socialize.

By working together we can built intergenerational and cultural connections. We need to stand together and work together to make a difference.

We are not only in need of hands but also donations (not just financial) to keep this project up and running. For more information come and have a look or send email.

What We Do

We dream about a beautiful place with a relaxing feeling. Where people come to gather to work, to play and to be part of a team.

We plan, we plant, we worry, we rearrange and we have fun.

At the end of a day this is about giving back and sharing  with the community, hopefully being able to fill a belly, or to get a smile from a flower or just to get away from the loneliness.
